Honda Cars India recently launched the BS6 WR-V Facelift in the range of Rs 8.50 lakhs - Rs 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is now being offered in two trims namely SV and VX. In comparison to this, the 2017 Honda WR-V came in the price bracket of Rs 7.75 lakhs - Rs 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The variant line-up then comprised of two trims S and VX.

Dimensionally, the new BS6 model remains more or less the same as the old model. In terms of design, it receives subtle design changes. Upfront, the BS6 model replaces the headlamps with new LED projector headlamps. The roof rails and LED DRLs have been retained from the older model. It now features a three-dimensional horizontally slated grille with the signature thick chrome slat on the top instead of a large solid wing chrome front grille with a thick horizontal chrome bar. The front and rear bumpers of the BS6 model have been redesigned. The rear end of the BS6 model features LED tail lights with diffused C-shaped light guides whereas, in the old model, the rear end featured sleek L-shaped taillights. On the sides, the BS6 model gets a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The petrol variant gets alloy wheels designed in the form of 4-hole Berlin Black layout. While the diesel variant rides on alloy wheels designed in the form of 5-hole Shark Grey pattern. Whereas the old model got the 16-inch alloy wheels with a Gunmetal finish.
2020 Honda WR-V vs 2017 Honda WR-V: Interior Features
As for the interior features, the BS6 Honda WR-V Facelift retains most of the features from its BS4 counterpart. However, it also gets subtle changes along with some additional features. In comparison to the older model, the BS6 WR-V facelift gets premium seat upholstery with Emboss and Mesh design. It retains the 7.0-inch Digipad 2.0 Touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Unlike the 2017 model, the 2020 WR-V facelift gets several additional features that include rear defogger, rear parking camera, height-adjustable driver’s seat, advanced multi-information combi meter with Eco Assist Ambient Rings, and automatic climate control. The VX grade of the BS6 model comes equipped with additional premium features. These include a front center armrest with storage, cruise control, keyless entry, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof.
2020 Honda WR-V vs 2017 Honda WR-V: Engine Specifications
Under the hood, the BS6 WR-V Facelift continues to draw power from the same powertrains that were present in the BS4 counterpart. It continues to get the same two engine options. A 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol motor that produces 90 bhp power at 6000 rpm and 110 Nm torque at 4800 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is also a 1.5-litre diesel unit on offer producing a maximum power output of 100 bhp at 3600 rpm with 200 Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol variant offers an ARAI claimed mileage of 16.5 kmpl. While the diesel variant has a fuel efficiency of 23.7 kmpl, ARAI certified.

The 2020 Honda WRV Facelift colour options include Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Radiant Red Metallic. The 2017 Honda WR-V was offered in six colour options namely Premium Amber Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Carnelian Red Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.
