BMW Motorrad India has recently revealed a teaser for the 2024 BMW R 1300 GS adventure bike ahead of its official launch in the Indian market. The two-wheeler giant unveiled the R 1300 GS in global markets last year. The new motorcycle is the company’s flagship ADV, which replaced the R 1250 GS in the brand’s portfolio. The company is all set to launch this new adventure model in the Indian market in June 2024. The R 1300 GS is likely to arrive on Indian shores as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS now features a new design language, a bigger engine, and more advanced features. The motorcycle receives a completely new look, and it now comes equipped with an LED projector lens headlamp and new X-motif LED DRLs. The BMW R 1300 GS looks leaner and features a flatter fuel tank. It houses a new sheet metal shell main frame that has been improved for better space and stiffness. The new frame is made from die-cast aluminum, which provides better control, especially on off-road patches. The adventure tourer is 12 kg lighter than the R 1250 GS motorcycle.
