Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, has rolled out the updated version of the Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycle in the Indian market. The 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,38,500. It is around INR 2,000 more expensive than the Double Disc Premium variant. The 2024 edition gets minor cosmetic variations and advanced features.

The two-wheeler manufacturer has not made many changes to the motorcycle’s bodywork. However, the new model is now being offered in a new Kevlar Brown color scheme. The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V now features the latest drag race timer, which enables a recording option. For pillion comfort, the motorcycle gets a new single-piece seat compared to the previous model, which features a split-type seat.

The MY2024 Xtreme 160R 4V houses an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, providing a host of features including turn-by-turn navigation, fuel level, gear position, malfunction alerts, trip details, text notifications, battery removal alerts, a tachometer, and overspeed warnings. In its segment, the new motorcycle gives tough competition to the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar N160, Yamaha FZ FI V4, and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

Powering the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is a 163.2-cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that generates power of 16.6 bhp and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Xtreme 160R 4V rolls on 17-inch wheels. Suspension duties are done by a preload-adjustable monoshock and advanced KYB inverted forks. For braking duties, the motorcycle receives a single disc at both ends.
