New Design Inspired by Larger Honda Sedans
The 2024 Honda Amaze does take quite a chunk from the design cues of the bigger sedans from Honda, and here in this case with the Accord, Civic, and the City. The sedan looks more angular and modern, with sharp LED headlights and aggressive front grills. The front bumper in particular has been made more aggressive-looking than its previous model. The sedan profile brings out a flowing roofline with an aggressive sloping C-pillar to provide some flair for the entire car. At the rear, the Amaze would deploy LED taillights almost identical to the curved lines of its cousin Honda City with a sharp modern finish.
Interior Update: More Premium Inclusions and Comfort
On the inside, the new Amaze will boast a cabin that has improved significantly. The driving experience will be on levels never witnessed before. The dashboard is a direct carbon copy of the Honda Elevate SUV and boasts an all-new black and beige dual-tone colour scheme. Above the dashboard sits a floating touchscreen infotainment system besides intelligent air-conditioning controls. Inside, there will be a premium feel in the sense that you have a new three-spoke steering wheel, a half-digital instrument cluster, and new seat upholstery.
It can be expected that the 2024 Amaze will boast automatic climate control, cruise control, Type-C charging ports, wireless charging, and cup holders in the centre console. The most major addition to this car will be it sports an ADAS suite. The Advanced Driver Assistance System will maximize the usage of all the safety features in this vehicle.
Engine and Performance:
It just shares the same powertrain that has been used in the previous generation Amaze.
Mechanically, it will be the same 1.2-liter, 4-pot petrol engine as in the current version, churning out 88 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. It will come with both a five-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic. This engine's specifications seem to remain similar but Honda has taken huge strides in both design and features for the Amaze to keep pace with what an extremely fast-moving compact sedan market may demand.
What to Expect on December 4th
The new Amaze will compete in this very competitive compact sedan segment with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor. In the market, it is quite a solid contender with fresh designs, upgraded interiors, and advanced feature upgrades.
Officially, so far, there is no word on the price for the 2024 Honda Amaze, though it will be known at the time of its launch. The newly redesigned Amaze with an all-new look yet to be unveiled and a new interior and dependable performance are ready to bring it big in the Indian market.
