The leading SUV manufacturer, Hyundai, has confirmed the launch date of the new three-row Hyundai Alcazar facelift. The company is gearing up to unveil the Alcazar facelift in the Indian market on September 9, 2024. The facelift version will come with new exterior and interior styling updates. Under the hood, the Hyundai Alcazar is likely to remain the same. In its segment, the Hyundai Alcazar rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, Kia Carens, and the MG Hector Plus. 

The company has been testing the Alcazar facelift in the country for months. Deliveries of the new Alcazar facelift are likely to begin next month. In the Indian market, the outgoing pre-facelift version of the Hyundai Alcazar is priced between INR 16.78 lakh and INR 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming Alcazar is expected to be priced higher than the current model.

The upcoming model will get unique styling updates that will set it apart from the recently launched Creta facelift. When it comes to the design language, the 2024 Alcazar facelift will feature a new front fascia along with revamped split LED headlamps, a front bumper, and a grille. On the sides, the three-row SUV is expected to stay identical to the current model except for the addition of new sportier alloy wheels.

At the rear, the Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to get a reworked tailgate and LED taillights. It will come loaded with LED light bars at both ends. Hyundai will roll out new color schemes for its upcoming facelift. On the feature front, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will get a Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, twin 10.25-inch screens, ventilated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver seat, a wireless charger, and more. 

According to reports, Hyundai will not make any mechanical changes to the latest facelifted avatar. The car will come equipped with 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options. The diesel unit can churn out a power output of 116 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the petrol engine is tuned to produce 160 bhp of power and a torque of 253 Nm. It is mated to either a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic or a 6-speed manual.
