Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has finally launched the Alcazar premium SUV after teasing this model for months. Available in 7- and 6-seater configurations, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar draws power from both petrol and diesel engines. It is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 14.99 lakh.
The auto giant launched the first Hyundai Alcazar back in June 2021. Since then, Hyundai has retailed over 75,000 Alcazar units in the Indian market, whereas 27,000 units of the SUV have been exported to international markets. The Alcazar SUV is being offered with three driving modes: Sport, Eco, and Comfort.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Design
Compared to the standard model, the Hyundai Alcazar has a different design language. The updated Alcazar comes equipped with an H-shaped LED DRL setup, a revamped grille, a new spoiler, a tailgate, Quad Beam LED headlights, a chunky silver skid plate, and a big bumper. The rest of the design has been retained from the newly launched Creta. The car’s silhouette remains unchanged, and the most notable update is the addition of 8-spoke dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Atlas White color scheme can also be had in a dual-tone shade with a black roof. Customers can select the new Alcazar from four different variants: Prestige, Executive, Signature, and Platinum.

Hyundai has revamped the SUV’s cabin with a range of top-end features like ventilated rear seats, bigger dual digital displays, folding armrests, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, boss mode function, and Level 2 ADAS. There are two new shades inside the cabin, i.e., haze navy and noble brown. This dual-tone treatment enhances the overall cabin, giving it a premium look.
The Alcazar facelift is loaded with a power walk-in device, driver power seat memory function, wing-type headrest, digital key with NFC, 270+ voice commands, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, traction control, 70+ connected car features, instrument cluster, 10.25-inch displays for infotainment unit, auto-dimming IRVM, and 6 airbags.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Powertrain
The new Hyundai Alcazar comes equipped with two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol unit churns out a peak power of 157.8 bhp and a torque of 253 Nm. It is mated to either a 7-speed dual-clutch AT and a 6-speed manual or transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the contrary, generates 114.4 bhp of power and torque of 250 Nm. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual or AT gearbox.
As for the dimensions, the all-new Hyundai SUV measures 4,560 mm in length, 1,710 mm in height, and 1,800 mm in width. The 2024 Alcazar is 60 mm longer, 35 mm taller, and 10 mm wider compared to the outgoing Alcazar. The wheelbase remains the same at 2,760 mm.
