India Yamaha Motor has introduced the new Fascino S model to the Indian market. The new premium scooter is part of Yamaha’s ‘The Call of the Blue campaign’. The 2024 Fascino S comes with a new “Answer Back” feature that is app-based and can only be utilized through the brand’s mobile application. Yamaha is offering the new S variant in three amazing matte colors: Matte Black, Matte Red, and Dark Matte Blue. The Matte Red/Matte Black shades are priced at INR 93,730 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Dark Matte Blue shade is available at a price of INR 94,530 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back’ feature enables riders to easily locate their Fascino S scooter by activating both right and left indicators, and the horn will go off for two seconds. This latest application can be installed from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The Yamaha Fascino S scooter houses an automatic start and stop function, silent starter, and Normal and Traffic modes.

The 2024 Fascino S scooter features a few European design elements, and it is powered by a 125-cc Blue Core hybrid engine, which complies with BS VI and has Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology. The 125-cc engine produces 8.04 bhp of power and a peak torque of 10.3 Nm. The scooter weighs 99 kg (kerb) and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres. The Fascino S rolls on 12- to 10-inch alloy wheels, and braking duties are done by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. In terms of dimensions, the latest scooter measures 1,150 mm in height, 685 mm in width, and 1,920 mm in length.
The Yamaha Fascino 125 is available in three variants: Disc, Drum, and S. The Fascino entry-level Drum trim can be bought at a starting price of INR 79,900 (ex-showroom), whereas the Disc trim goes up to INR 91,130 (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the 2024 Yamaha Fascino S scooter gives tough competition to the likes of the Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Suzuki Burgman Street 125, and Hero Destini 125.
