One of India’s largest automobile manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL), announced the arrival of its popular 2025 Grand Vitara model in the domestic market. On Tuesday, the company officially announced the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara price in India, which now starts at an ex-showroom price of INR 11.42 lakh. What makes this updated Grand Vitara model more attractive is the addition of new safety features along with different variant options. As standard, the SUV receives six airbags across all trims.
Interested customers can now reserve the new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara online, or they can also contact their nearby Maruti showroom. Deliveries for the updated SUV are likely to commence in the upcoming months.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Variants
Maruti Suzuki is now offering the updated SUV in 18 trims that are further available in eight trims. These include:

- Delta+
- Zeta
- Zeta (O)
- Zeta+ (O)
- Alpha (O)
- Alpha+ (O)
The new Strong Hybrid Delta+ variant has been launched to make hybrid cars more accessible to Indian buyers. It is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 16.99 lakh. The demand for a panoramic sunroof has been increasing in the Indian market. Keeping this in mind, Maruti Suzuki is now offering new variants like Zeta+ (O), Zeta (O), Alpha+ (O), and Alpha (O) with sunroof availability. All Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara variants are now E20 fuel compliant, clearly going along with the Indian government’s cleaner fuel initiative.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Features
When it comes to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara features, the automaker has loaded it with a range of advanced amenities, including an 8-way driver-powered seat, auto purification with PM 2.5 display, electronic parking brake, LED cabin lamps, rear door sunshades, and recently forged 17-inch alloy wheels. The higher variant of the SUV continues to house a Clarion sound system.

Additionally, the newly launched Grand Vitara features a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster (strong-hybrid only), a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a HUD display, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, an Arkamys sound system, connected car tech, and more.
For safety, the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes equipped with safety features like electronic stability control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat anchors, hill descent control, TPMS, and more.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Powertrain
Under the hood, the new Maruti Grand Vitara draws power from two engine options, including a 1.5-litre NA, 4-cyl, petrol engine and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder strong hybrid petrol unit. The former can generate horsepower of 103 bhp and peak torque of 135 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6- or 5-speed torque converter.
On the other hand, the latter engine is tuned to generate a peak power of 115 hp, and it is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. In addition, the all-wheel drive features a six-speed torque converter AT gearbox option compared to the older 6-speed manual gearbox.
