The Ather Rizta e-scooter is based on the 450 Series. However, the scooter is manufactured on a completely new platform and sports a different design language. It comes with two battery set options: 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. The most budget-friendly Rizta version features a 2.9 kWh battery set, which provides a certified range of 105 kilometres in one charge. On the other hand, the bigger 3.7 kWh battery set provides a claimed range of 125 kilometres. Notably, the Rizta is the only e-scooter in India to feature the biggest seat, and it has a cargo area of 34 litres.

Powering the Rizta e-scooter is a PMS electric motor, which is mounted to the frame. The motor churns out a power output of 5.7 hp and 22 Nm of peak torque. According to the company, the e-scooter can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 5 seconds. It has a high speed of 80 kmph. In terms of features, the Ather Rizta comes equipped with smartphone connectivity, a TFT touch-enabled digital instrument console, followed by turn-by-turn navigation, LED taillights, a mono-LED headlamp, and 12-inch alloy wheels.

In its segment, the Rizta gives tough competition to the likes of the TVS iQube, Ola S1 Air, and petrol-powered scooters like the TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa.
