BMW launched the redesigned M2 coupe in India for ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom). 2025 BMW M2 Engine and Performance
The M2 is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine that generates 473 bhp. It offers a peak torque of 550 Nm with a manual gearbox and up to 600 Nm with the automatic variant. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.2 seconds with the manual transmission and 4 seconds flat with the automatic. BMW equips the M2 with three driving modes—Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus—optimizing the driving experience for various conditions. Additionally, the top speed can be increased from 250 km/h to 285 km/h with the optional M Driver's Package.
2025 BMW M2 Design
The rear of the M2 displays a black frameless grille with raised slats, replacing the chrome seen on previous models. Unique M-specific features like flared wheel arches, black exhaust tailpipes and rear diffuser enhance its muscular look. The car comes with adaptive LED headlights and the option of an M Carbon Roof, which reduces the car's centre of gravity.
BMW M2 Tech and Interiors
The M2 features an Adaptive M suspension for enhanced ride comfort and performance. The M Sport differential and high-performance M brakes ensure stability and control during spirited driving. For added convenience, the car includes electric steering, auto startup function and regenerative braking.
Inside, the coupe boasts a sporty aesthetic with a slim leather steering wheel with red centre emblems. The cabin is equipped with BMW’s Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen. Optional carbon bucket seats with illuminated headrests provide additional luxury, while foldable rear seats and a 390-litre boot make it practical for its class.

The Coupe features Dynamic Stability Control, Cornering Brake Control and airbags for all passengers. There are metallic and non-metallic colour options, including eye-catching Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey, and Sao Paulo Yellow.
