2025 BMW M5 updates

The 2025 BMW M5 update brings a bold, aggressive design language. The car now features a semi-enclosed kidney with glossy black accents and illuminated surroundings. The redesigned front bumper adds greater ventilation, while the wider body—extending to 76 mm at the front and 48 mm at the rear—increases its road presence.

It’s also the first M5 over five meters long, with a charging port flap on the left side and a more sharp silhouette. It rides on 20-inch wheels and a 21-inch rear wheel, wrapped in high-performance tyres. At the rear, quad exhaust tips and an integrated diffuser emphasize its sporty appeal.

2025 BMW M5 features

The BMW M5 interior details: A variety of luxurious features, including versatile M seats and merino leather upholstery in several colours such as Kyalami Orange and Silverstone/Black. The cabin features a redesigned flat-bottom M-specific leather steering wheel and double curved display powered by BMW Operating System 8.5. These displays improve navigation with cloud-based maps and augmented reality.

Additional features include a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, a high-end Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, wireless charging, and four-zone automatic climate control for maximum comfort for all passengers.

M5 engine specs and performance

The BMW M5 performance is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 577 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. It is paired with an electric motor that contributes another 196 bhp and 280 Nm. Combined, the hybrid powertrain produces an impressive 717 bhp and 1,001 Nm of torque.

The M5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Its BMW M5 top speed is electronically capped at 250 km/h, but the M Driver’s Package makes it an impressive 305 km/h. In all-electric mode, it has a maximum speed of 67–69 km/h (WLTP).
