BMW is offering the special X3 Shadow Edition in two exterior color hues: Carbon Black and Brooklyn Grey.

BMW India has launched a new special edition of its famous X3 SUV in the Indian market. The new SUV is named the X3 Shadow Edition, and it comes at a price tag of INR 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version is solely available in the BMW xDrive20d M Sport Trim. BMW is offering the special X3 Shadow Edition in two exterior color hues: Carbon Black and Brooklyn Grey.

The all-new Shadow Edition features various exterior enhancements, including window graphics, a new blacked-out kidney grille, black tailpipes, roof rails, and kidney frames and bars. The BMW X3 Shadow Edition rolls on Y-spoke style 887 M 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the BMW X3 Shadow Edition SUV comes equipped with a multi-function steering wheel, 3-zone automatic climate control, leather Vernasca upholstery, electroplated controls, and electric seat adjustment. The cabin is packed with a welcome light carpet, a panoramic glass roof, roller sunblinds, and ambient lighting. The SUV gets a 464W Harman Kardon surround sound system followed by 16 speakers and individually customizable equalizer settings for a rich music experience.

Additionally, the BMW X3 Shadow Edition houses a BMW Operating System 7.0 and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The operating system features the brand’s Gesture Control, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay, 3D navigation, and Android Auto. The new variant houses other mechanical features like electronically managed Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks (ADB-X), hill start assist, extended Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and for better driving performance, it gets hill descent control.

Under the hood, the Shadow Edition draws power from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel powertrain that is paired with an 8-speed AT Steptronic Sport transmission. The unit churns out a maximum power of 190 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and it has a top speed of 213 kmph.

In terms of safety features, the new X3 edition comes loaded with an antilock braking system (ABS), six airbags, brake assist, dynamic traction control (DTC), dynamic stability control (DSC), cornering brake control (CBC), and attentiveness assistance.
