BMW India has X4 SUV-Coupe at a starting price of Rs 70.50 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being available in petrol and diesel variants namely BMW X4 xDrive30i and BMW X4 xDrive30d respectively, it will be locally developed at BMW Group Plant in Chennai. The new BMW X4 is also offered in an exclusive ‘Black Shadow’ edition in limited numbers only. The X4 will directly rival Mercedes Benz GLC Coupe in the Indian market. Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus are optionally available with the SUV coupe.

BMW X4 flaunts distinctive mesh kidney grille with all-black mesh-inserts while the frame is finished in ‘M High Gloss Shadow line’. It is equipped with flatter adaptive LED headlamps which are designed in M Shadow line with black accents and have Matrix function as standard. The front apron is newly designed with the M Aerodynamic package which includes components in body color in front / rear apron and side sill covers. Vertical air intakes and bumper inserts come in a dark shadow metallic theme. As for side profile, the X4 boasts of a black frame around the coupe-style windows with M High Gloss Shadow line. Riding on 20-inch light M alloy wheels, it features two-part wrap-around LED taillights, large automatic tailgate and wide free-form tailpipe in black color.


The new BMW X4 is available in Black Sapphire and M Brooklyn Grey metallic paintworks which are paired with Leather Vernasca upholstery with ‘Black’ decor stitching. The M interior trim Aluminum Rhombicledark with highlight trim finisher in Pearl Chrome is standard with the SUV coupe. The cabin gets sports seats with multiple electrical adjustment options and memory function. Even the rear passengers can tilt the seats backwards by up to 9˚. The usage of M headliner anthracite and galvanic embellisher further amplify the premiumness. Some other notable features include M leather steering wheel, electrically operated panoramic sunroof, Ambient Lighting with six selectable lights, Welcome Light Carpet, Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers and 3-zone automatic climate control.
