CFMoto India is ready to launch a couple of new motorcycles in the country. Earlier, it teased the BS6 650NK at its various social media channels and now it is the turn of the 650GT. The 2021 CFMoto 650 duo will come with very subtle styling tweaks while the engine has been upgraded to meet the stricter BS6 emission norms. CFMoto 650GT is the sports tourer version of the 650NK and best suited for long rides. The 2021 BS6 CFMoto 650GT will directly rival Kawasaki Ninja 650 in the Indian market while it is expected to cost around Rs 6 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).

Design-wise, the BS6 CFMoto 650GT is expected to be identical to the BS4 version. Being a fully-faired unit, it will flaunt twin LED headlamp setup with L-shaped DRLs at the front with an adjustable windscreen which can be raised by upto 60mm. The motorcycle will get a stepped seat and possibly a few new color schemes. The fuel tank capacity is 19 litres. The 2021 CFMoto 650GT is equipped with a 5.0-inch TFT digital instrument cluster with twin layouts namely Touring and Sports as standard while other features include USB charging port and a 12V power socket. All these features were present in the BS4 compliant bike and they are expected to make their way to the BS6 version too.

Mechanically, the 2021 CFMoto 650GT will be powered by the same 649.3cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine. This engine churns out a power output of 62bhp and torque performance of 58.5Nm in its BS4 version. The company has not revealed the BS6 figures but we expect them to be identical to the aforementioned figures. The engine will be linked to a 6-speed transmission. The chassis, braking system and suspension setup will be carried over from the BS4 model. The motorcycle has a seat height of 795mm along with a ground clearance of 150mm. The dry weight is pegged at 226 kgs while it rides on 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels. A Continental-sourced dual channel ABS comes as standard safety feature.
