BYD Sealion 7 Variants and Performance
The BYD Sealion 7 variants will be in two versions. The Premium RWD version is said to make 313hp, which will further deliver up to 380Nm of torque from its battery that has a capacity of 82.56kWh, and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds. The BYD Sealion 7 features of the Performance AWD model boasts 530hp with 690Nm of torque, enabling the car to gain its speed from 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The range it can do under the NEDC cycle is 567km and 542km for the performance AWD.
The electric SUV will be nearly identical to the BYD Seal sedan in its key specifications, but it will have a different torque output. The Performance AWD model, however, can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

The BYD Sealion 7 features include:
Infotainment & Interior: BYD Sealion 7 interior includes a rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a head-up display (HUD), ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker system.
Comfort & Convenience: Sealion 7 features ventilated front seats, driver's seat is electrically adjustable with memory, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger for phones, and powered tailgate.
Safety & Driver Assistance: BYD Sealion 7 variants prioritise safety with the help of 11 airbags, ADAS attributes of forward collision alert, blind-spot detection, lane departure warning, 360 cameras, ISOFIX point at the child seat mounts, hill hold control, and parking sensors.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Enables all the external devices to be driven through the car's battery.
BYD Sealion 7 Exterior and Dimensions
The Sealion 7 is based on the e-Platform 3.0 and comes in BYD's Ocean X design language. BYD Sealion 7 exterior showcases sharp headlamps, a connected tail-lamp setup, aggressive bumpers, and alloy wheels in 19-inch and 20-inch sizes.
The BYD Sealion 7 variants come with a total length of 4,830mm, 1,925mm in width, and 1,620mm in height, and its wheelbase stands at 2,930mm. The SUV provides a frunk of 58 litres, while the boot space is at 520 litres, which extends to 1,789 litres when the rear seats are folded.

Pricing and Bookings
The BYD Sealion 7 bookings are open with a token amount of Rs 70,000. As an introductory offer, BYD is giving an extra Rs 70,000 discount. Customers will also get a 7-year/1,50,000 km warranty along with a 7kW AC home charger with free installation.
The deliveries for the first 70 units will start from March 7, 2025.
