Harley Davidson is planning to enter the sport segment with an all-new bike. The company has recently released a teaser image that clearly reveals the number ‘1250’ and the words ‘Revolution Max’. We can expect the bike to be powered by a 1250cc Revolution Max engine as the Pan America. It is being speculated that the new bike will be virtually launched on July 13th, 2021. The event is going to be called ‘From Evolution to Revolution’. Furthermore, the bike will reach the Harley dealerships by the end of this year.
The Milwaukee-based company had revealed the Bronx, a naked streetfighter powered by a downsized 975cc motor. However, it was subsequently put on hold while Pan America made its way to production. Coming back to the upcoming new bike, it might be an amalgamation of sport and cruising segment. As for the name, we can expect it to be called either Harley Nightster or Custom 1250. These particular names were hinted at by Dennis Chung in March and April. Any other details about this new Harley bike has not been revealed yet.
“Following the successful launch of our first adventure touring motorcycle, the Pan America, we are excited to reveal another all-new motorcycle, built on the Revolution Max platform in the sport segment, showcasing unmatched Harley-Davidson technology, performance and style," as commented by Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president, and CEO Harley-Davidson.
Meanwhile, the company is prepping to launch an electric motorcycle called ‘LiveWire One’ on July 8, 2021, globally. It is likely to be the updated version of the LiveWire motorcycle. As for India launch, we can expect it to take place next year
