The two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports variant in the Indian market. The new variant is available at a price of INR 79,738 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the brand’s lineup, the scooter is positioned between the top-end Xtec standard and Xtec Connected variants. With the addition of this new variant, Hero Pleasure Plus is now available in six variants.

The most significant feature that sets the Xtec Sports trim apart from other models is its new paint schemes and graphics. The Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports comes in an Abrax Orange Blue color scheme with blue as the primary color, slashes of orange highlights, and an ‘18’ number on the side panels, front fender, and front apron. In addition, there are orange highlights running through the circumference of the body-colored grab handles, wheels, and mirrors.

In terms of design language, the new scooter is like the Pleasure Plus Xtec standard version. The scooter comes equipped with telescopic forks, 10-inch wheels, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and drum brakes at both ends. The Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports is powered by a 110.9-cc engine that churns out power of 8 bhp and peak torque of 8.7 Nm. The unit is mated to a CVT transmission system. It has a light kerb weight of 106 kg, while the fuel tank’s capacity is measured at 4.8 litres. With the combined braking system, a drum at either end handles the braking.

The Xtec Sports trim houses impressive features like an LCD screen for calls and SMS warnings, an analog speedometer, a projector LED headlamp, and a semi-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity. In its segment, the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec rivals the likes of the TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 6G.
