Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s leading two-wheeler makers, has introduced the new Xoom Combat scooter to the Indian market. The design of the new Xoom Combat takes inspiration from fighter jets. The new Hero scooter is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 80,967. Hero has now listed the scooter on its website, and this new version is placed among the top models in the company’s lineup. The Xoom special edition is around INR 1,000 dearer than the top-end Xoom ZX trim. With the inclusion of the Xoom Combat edition, the Xoom 110 range now comes in four variants.

The two-wheeler giant is offering the Hero Xoom 110 Combat in a new eye-catching Matt Shadow Grey color scheme along with dark grey and neon yellow graphics. The fighter jet-inspired color scheme provides a sportier look to the scooter. On the other hand, the ZX variant is available in a total of four color schemes: Black, Sport Red, Pole Star Blue, and Matt Abrax Orange.

Hero MotoCorp has not made any mechanical changes to the Xoom Combat Edition. The scooter continues to draw power from a 110.9-cc single-cylinder, air-cooled powertrain that churns out power of 8.05 bhp at 7,250 rpm and peak torque of 8.7 Nm at 5,750 rpm. The unit is mated to a CVT unit. The suspension duties are done by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the back. For braking performance, the scooter gets a disc up front and a rear drum brake, followed by a Combi-Braking System (CBS).

Hero unveiled the Xoom 110 model in the country in 2023, and with this scooter, the company entered the premium two-wheeler segment. In terms of features, the Hero Xoom 110 Combat edition comes loaded with an LED projector headlamp, a H-shaped LED taillight, signature LED DRLs, and a fully digital console along with Bluetooth connectivity. The Xoom is the only model in the premium scooter segment to feature cornering lights.

The two-wheeler giant is all set to expand the Xoom lineup with two new variants: the Xoom 125R and the Xoom 160. Both of these scooters were showcased at EICMA 2023. Hero is expected to launch the Xoom 125R scooter in the upcoming weeks. The upcoming Hero scooters will be placed as premium offerings in the brand’s lineup, and they are expected to be retailed through Hero 2.0 and the latest Hero Premia dealerships.
