Honda Cars India has introduced new safety features across its portfolio, which incorporates Elevate, City e:HEV, City, and Amaze models. The company claims that these improvements are in line with its global ambition to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities globally by 2050 involving Honda automobiles. As part of the recent upgrade, the famous Honda models will now feature three-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts, seat belt reminders for all five seats, and six airbags as standard offerings. Just like the SV, VX, and V, the Elevate SUV will now house all three safety features.
After the addition of new features, the price of the models has been revised. Honda has joined other automakers in increasing the prices of its models as of April 1, 2024. The Honda Elevate is now available at a new starting price of INR 11.91 lakh (ex-showroom), and for the top-end ZX variant it goes up to INR 16.43 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Honda City is now priced at INR 12.08 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. On the other hand, the price of the Amaze sedan now begins at INR 7.93 lakh (ex-showroom).

Apart from these latest safety features, the auto giant has also incorporated features like a vanity mirror along with a lid for the front passenger and driver, an enhanced AC vent, a 7-inch HD full-color TFT driver display, and a temperature control knob as standard in a few variants. The vanity mirror is integrated into the VX, V, and SV variants. The brand has introduced a new paint scheme for knobs in the VX, V, and ZX variants.
The company has included seat belt reminders and six airbags in the City and City Hybrid versions. The automaker has added six airbags to the V and SV variants of the sedan, while the seat belt reminder has been added as a standard across trims. Honda has also included a 4.2-inch color TFT driver display in the SV trim. The VX variant now features rear sunshades and an 8-speaker premium surround sound system. The City Hybrid sedan now gets seat belt reminders as standard across all trims.
