The CBR 250R was taken off the shelves when the BS-IV emission norms kicked in. Honda has now launched the 2018 version, which meets the stricter emissions standards. The bike costs Rs 1.63 lakh for the STD (standard) model and is priced at Rs 1.93 lakh for the ABS model (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

The bike is now fitted with an all-LED headlight unit and gets redesigned graphics. There are four colours on sale – grey-orange, grey-green, yellow and red.

The engine is an updated version of the 249.6cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 26.5hp and 22.9Nm. It continues to be mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike continues to have the same 13-litre fuel tank as well.
