SUV Hyundai Exter EX Hy-CNG Duo Launched at ₹7.5 Lacs

Hyundai has just launched the base variant EX of their Exter Hy-CNG Duo series. This hybrid car will be known for its fuel efficiency and feature-packed compact SUV.

Hyundai is making strides in both the CNG and EV segments in India. Recently, the brand has launched the Hyundai Exter EX Hy-CNG Duo base variant in their new lineup of cars with dual CNG cylinders.

The EX variant of this compact SUV lineup is priced at Rs. 7.5 lacs (ex-showroom). This fuel-efficient variant comes with a host of modern features and competes with the Tata Punch CNG in its segment.

Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX price

The Hyundai Hy-CNG Duo lineup has revealed 5 variants as of now, and the EX is the base variant. The CNG trim starts at Rs. 7.5 lacs (ex-showroom) while the petrol trim starts at Rs. 5.99 lacs (ex-showroom). 

Currently, the buyers can pre-book and buy the Exter at a discount of up to Rs. 50K. The validity period of the offer is not stated.

Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX features

The main highlight of this SUV, which may make it a popular choice among young people, is its two CNG-cylinder setup. The brand has done this to make the boot more spacious.

This most affordable variant in this lineup is powered by a 1.2L dual-fuel Kappa petrol engine with Hy-CNG Duo technology. This is a 5-speed manual transmission car that can produce up to 67.6 bhp of power and 95.2 Nm of torque with the CNG input.

The claimed mileage of this compact SUV is 27.1 km/kg as tested by ARAI in the CNG mode.
