Hyundai India has launched the Exter Knight Edition in the Indian market after teasing this new model on its social media handles. The brand is celebrating the first anniversary of its most affordable vehicle, the Hyundai Exter. The all-new Exter Knight Edition can be purchased at an introductory price of INR 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variant is priced at INR 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It takes inspiration from the SX and SX (O) variants of the Exter SUV. Since its launch in the domestic market, the company has sold over 93,000 Exter units. 

Interested buyers can reserve the new edition by visiting their nearest Hyundai showrooms. The company is expected to start the delivery process in the coming weeks. The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is available in five monotone and two dual-tone color options. These include Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof, Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof, and Shadow Grey. After the Venue and Creta models, the Hyundai Exter is the third model to be offered in the Knight Edition variant.

The Exter Knight Edition features blacked-out elements on the exterior, including the Hyundai logo and Exter badge, a Knight emblem, and front and rear skid plates. Additionally, the SUV has red accents on the rear and front bumpers, front brake calipers, and tailgate. It rolls on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the SUV is finished in a black theme with red accents and stitching. It comes equipped with footwell lighting, a floor mat with red stitching, metal scuff plates, and special ‘Knight’ themed seat upholstery. Under the hood, the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine that generates power of 81 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm. The unit is paired with a five-speed manual and AMT gearboxes.
