In a bid to make its most affordable SUV in India, the Jeep Compass, more appealing, Jeep has rolled out the Sandstorm Edition in the Indian market. The new limited-run model gets visual enhancements both on the exterior and interior. It is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 19.49 lakh and ranges up to INR 27.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition price in India makes it INR 50,000 more premium compared to the standard version it takes inspiration from.
The Compass sports utility vehicle is the leading revenue generator for the company. Jeep India is offering the new Compass Sandstorm Edition with an accessory kit that includes special additional features and cosmetic enhancements. The limited-run Jeep Compass Sandstorm model comes bearing three variants: Longitude, Sports, and Longitude (O).
Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition Cosmetic Updates
The new Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition receives body decals that are placed on the hood and side profiles of the car. In addition, the limited-run model features a Sandstorm badge on the fender up front.

Inside the cabin, the Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition comes equipped with unique styling elements such as new seat covers, programmable ambient lighting, front and rear dashcams, new floor mats, and an additional Sandstorm badge. All these updated features set the Limited Edition Jeep Compass Sandstorm apart from the regular model.

In terms of regular features, the Jeep Compass SUV is packed with a range of elements including an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED reflector lights, an in-car connectivity suite, a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging, and more.
For safety, the updated Compass Sandstorm Edition features dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and six airbags.
Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition Engine
Under the hood, the Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition Engine includes a 170 PS 2-litre diesel engine that is mated to either a nine-speed torque converter AT or a six-speed manual gearbox transmission. In the Indian market, the Jeep Compass rivals the likes of the Citroen C5 Aircross, Hyundai Tucson, and upcoming VW Tiguan R-Line.
