The South Korean manufacturer Kia is offering bumper benefits on its popular mid-size SUV, the Kia Seltos, in July 2024. Kia recently celebrated the 5-year anniversary of the Seltos in India. The company posted on its social media handle that buyers will get exclusive benefits worth up to INR 60,000 and a 5-year warranty on the purchase of the mid-size Seltos SUV.

As of now, the Kia Seltos mid-size SUV comes at a starting price of INR 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to INR 20.37 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. Kia offers its popular mid-size SUV in three variants: the GT Line, Tech Line, and X Line. Additionally, the mid-size SUV is also available in ten variants. Customers are advised to contact their nearest authorized Kia dealerships to get detailed information about the new offer.

In June 2024, Kia India sold a total of 6,306 units of the Seltos, achieving 76 percent YoY growth in sales. Additionally, the South Korean carmaker announced an ‘Exchange Your Car’ estimation service to help customers get the value of their current Kia models via its online channel. In 2023, Kia updated the mid-size Seltos with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, while the previous model was offered with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.5-L turbo-petrol unit generates power of 158 bhp and a peak torque of 253 Nm. It is mated to either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed iMT transmission.

The Kia Seltos also features a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both units generate a maximum power of 115 bhp. The diesel engine churns out a peak torque of 250 Nm, and it can be mated to either a 6-speed torque converter AT or a 6-speed iMT transmission. On the contrary, the naturally aspirated petrol engine continues to generate a peak torque of 144 Nm. It is mated to either an IVT automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox transmission.
