The SUV experience is set to be redefined with the launch of a more powerful and feature-rich Land Rover Defender 2025.

The luxury SUV category got its latest entry with the Land Rover Defender 2025. Apart from a robust new engine, it comes with other new features to provide the premium SUV experience. The car starts at INR 1.39 crore (ex-showroom) and comes in three variants, Defender 90, 110, and 130. 

The upgraded V8 engine under the hood can deliver up to 626 BHP power. Buyers will also get a revamped seating arrangement along with a bunch of new features designed to enhance the riding experience.

Land Rover Defender 2025 Price

Right now, we only know the starting price as INR 1.39 crores (ex-showroom) which is about 35 lacs more than the base variant of this series. The company is expected to reveal the price of other Defender variants in the coming days.

Land Rover Defender SUV Features

The highlights of this luxury SUV include a premium and rugged interior with 14-way powered, heated, and cooled electric memory front seats. It is complemented by winged headrests for enhanced comfort.

In the SUV, luxury touches include Nubuck-edged carpet mats, suede cloth headlining, a leather steering wheel, and Windsor leather or UltrafabricsTM seats.

New Defender's key exterior specifications include Matrix LED headlights with DRLs, Automatic Headlight Leveling, and a sliding panoramic roof. It also comes with eye-pleasing Configurable Cabin Lighting.

The Terrain Response System and Electronic Air Suspension are found on all the V8 variants which offer unmatched off-road capability and comfort. The new car rides on 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.

Land Rover Defender SUV V8 Petrol Engine

The Defender lineup draws power from a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, producing 425BHP and 615Nm of torque, available across 90, 110, and 130 variants. This engine comes in two versions, X-Dynamic HSE and X.

For those seeking more performance, the Defender Octa features a 4.4-litre V8 which delivers 626BHP and 730Nm of torque. A 3.0-litre diesel engine is available across all three body styles in X-Dynamic HSE, X, and Sedona Edition.

The Land Rover Defender offers a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine for people who prefer smaller engines. This smaller engine is available in the 110 body style and X-Dynamic HSE trim.
