Lexus, which makes ultra-luxury cars with truly luxurious experiences has just launched their new SUV, LX 500d. The new high-end SUV is priced at Rs. 3 crores (ex-showroom). Bookings are open for this one of the most premium SUVs.
This SUV comes with several updates to the design and other features. This car runs on a 3.3-liter V6 diesel engine and comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The LX 500d mainly competes with the likes of Mercedes-Maybach GLS, BMW XM, and Land Rover Range Rover in India.
Lexus LX 500d Launch in India Details
The new LX was launched on 6th March 2025 in India. The brand entered the Indian market in 2017. Lexus also made an announcement recently to offer an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for all the new Lexus models sold in India from June 2024.
Lexus LX 500d Price and Variants in India
The all-new Lexus's price starts at Rs. 3 crores (ex-showroom) with the base "Urban" variant. The new Overtrail off-road variant is priced at Rs. 3.12 crores (ex-showroom).

Lexus LX 500d Features & Specifications
The new Lexus model as always is made with a focus on meticulous details and comes with many thoughtful and top-notch safety features. The new SUV has the Lexus Safety System +3.0.
This safety system offers Collision Prevention Tech, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Blindspot Monitoring, Auto High Beam, Lane Trace Assist, etc.
The SUV also allows riders to remotely access the car via their phones using Lexus Connect Technology. This tech also integrates smart data-based telematics features like SOS alerts and immobilization.
There are other luxurious features also like the front-row seat massager which is a new feature in this 2025 model. The other interior features remain similar to the old 500d.
The new and exclusive Overtrail trim of this Lexus has a Moon Desert Color option. It also features additional front and rear differential locks for off-road capacity. The interior has a striking Khaki interior.
The Urban LX variant comes in two color designs, Hazel and Crimson which feature Japanese craftsmanship.
Lexus LX 500d Engine
The new 500d runs on a 3.3L V6 diesel engine with a dual turbo system. This is the only diesel model in the Lexus lineup in India.
This ultra-luxury SUV can deliver up to 304 bhp at 4000 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 2600 rpm with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
