The leading SUV manufacturer Mahindra has recently announced the prices of the Thar Roxx 4x4 variants in India. The off-roader Mahindra Thar Roxx is being offered at a starting price of INR 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Thar Roxx 4x4 will start on October 3, 2024. The automaker will offer the Thar Roxx 5-door with only a diesel powertrain, whereas the petrol engine is being offered on the Thar 3-door.

Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 Features

On the feature front, the MX5 variant of the Thar Roxx houses a range of features, including a single-pane sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, front parking sensors, leatherette seats, a tyre pressure monitor, and auto-dimming IRVM.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 AX5L variant is loaded with level 2 ADAS features, a digital instrument cluster, connected car features, automatic climate control, and an electric parking brake. On the contrary, the top-spec AX7L comes with a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, a cooled glovebox, a powered driver seat, a 360-degree camera, and power-folding ORVMs. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 Engine

Under the hood, the Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 version draws power from a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The unit is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. The manual trim can churn out power of 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, while the automatic variant is tuned to generate power of 173 bhp and torque of 370 Nm. The Mahindra Thar Roxx features three terrain modes: Sand, Snow, and Mud. In its segment, the car continues to give tough competition to the Force Gurkha 5-door and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
