Mahindra & Mahindra launched the XUV 3XO facelift in the Indian market in April 2024. Based on the XUV300 compact SUV, the new model comes at a starting price of INR 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV is currently being offered in nine different variants: MX1, MX2 Pro, MX2, MX3 Pro, MX3, AX5 Luxury, AX5, AX7 Luxury, and AX7. The brand started the delivery process for the XUV 3XO mid- and top-spec variants by the end of May 2024. Now, the MX1 entry-level variant has started reaching Mahindra dealerships across India. Customers can get their hands on this new trim by visiting their nearest Mahindra showroom.

In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO MX1 variant comes equipped with halogen projector headlamps, LED taillights, LED indicators on electrically manageable ORVMs, ABS with EBD, all four power windows, ESC, steering modes, 3-point seatbelts, rear AC vents, a front armrest with storage, and a reminder system for all occupants. For safety, the Mahindra XUV 3XO MX1 variant features advanced amenities like six airbags, hill assist, ISOFIX mounts, and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) followed by Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD).

Under the hood, the MX1 variant of the Mahindra XUV 3XO is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The unit can produce a power output of 109 bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm. It is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

The XUV 3XO model has replaced the compact XUV 300 SUV in Mahindra’s lineup. The brand launched the facelifted version of its compact SUV to expand its reach in the segment. Mahindra has retailed 10,000 XUV 3XO units in the country since May 2024. In its segment, the recently launched XUV 3XO rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue and the Kia Sonet.

The XUV 3XO has performed well in India since its launch in April. It has become one of the best-selling SUVs in the brand’s lineup. The reason is the availability of advanced features in the SUV. For instance, the 3XO AX7 L and other high-end trims come equipped with ADAS, SOS buttons, Google/Alexa connectivity, and more.
