Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to globally unveil the XUV700 on August 14, 2021. The homegrown automaker has released a video stating the same. However, the price announcement will be made in October 2021. As for the price, we can expect the SUV to fall in the range of Rs 17 lakhs - Rs 24 lakhs.
Mahindra XUV700: Design & Features
A few days back clear images of the SUV had been leaked online. The images revealed the SUV in a metallic brown shade. Upfront, it gets a new grille with LED headlamps and LED DRLs. In addition, the new XUV700 features LED fog lamps integrated into the front bumper. The side profile is similar to the Mahindra XUV500. While the rear end boasts of L-shaped tail lamps. The cabin of the upcoming XUV700 will be equipped with features like twin screens for digital instrument cluster & touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, wireless charging, voice commands by Amazon Alexa, and an electronic parking brake. Besides these, the SUV will debut the advanced Drive Assistance System (ADAS) which consists of several premium features.
Mahindra XUV700: Engine Specifications
Performance-wise, the upcoming XUV700 will come with both petrol and diesel engine option. The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine will churn out a maximum power of 197 bhp. While the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel motor will generate 182 bhp power. Transmission duties will be taken care of by either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Mahindra XUV700: Rivals
Once launched in the Indian market, the new Mahindra XUV700 will rival the likes of MG Hector, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar. Furthermore, the automaker will temporarily discontinue the XUV500 after the arrival of XUV700.
Mahindra & Mahindra: New Brand Logo
Mahindra & Mahindra has also unveiled its all-new brand logo. This will make its debut with the upcoming XUV700 in the Indian market. It is being said that the ‘Twin Peaks’ logo will distinguish the SUV portfolio of the company from its other products. Moreover, the new logo will be seen across 823 cities by 2022.
