Positive Impact on Mid-SUV Segment
The Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales) of Maruti Suzuki, Partho Banerjee, said, “The Grand Vitara has redefined the mid SUV segment, and the Dominion Edition builds on this success by offering options that cater to the evolving preferences of our customers. It features distinct styling with added comfort and a more premium interior, meeting the growing customer inclination towards a stand-out appearance and superior in-cabin experience.”
He further added that by successfully bringing in the Grand Vitara, the company has made some drastic changes in the mid-size SUV segment and emerged as a major player in the segment. A daring exterior design and a luxurious and packed interior, as well as multiple powertrain choices, have helped the mid-SUV to garner consumer attention and become the fastest one to reach 2 lakh sales. With the launch of the Grand Vitara Dominion Edition, this momentum is expected to continue and the joy of mobility for customers will be brought to the same level too.
