Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Maybach GLS 600 facelift in the Indian market. The updated GLS facelift is available at a starting price of INR 3.35 crore (ex-showroom). The new GLS version is around INR 39 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. Mercedes has also launched the AMG S 63 E Performance and AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 in India. The auto giant unveiled the Maybach and AMG versions in late 2023.

The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 comes with new paint schemes, subtle cosmetic changes, mild hybrid functionality, and updated interior themes. The car features a luxurious cabin and a robust 4.0-litre V8 powertrain under the hood. The Maybach GLS 600 facelift has now received an updated headlight cluster, air inlet grilles along with the Maybach pattern, tweaked front and rear bumpers, signature vertical chrome bars, and chrome accents. The new Maybach GLS rolls on 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. The facelift now features two new color options: Manufaktur Alpine Grey (non-metallic) and Sodalite Blue (metallic).

Inside the cabin, the 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 features new 100W USB power outlets, which are located at the base of the center console. The Maybach GLS is available in both five- and four-seater configurations. The facelift is loaded with features like a 360-degree camera, a Burmester-sourced surround-sound music system, a panoramic sunroof, a new steering wheel design, powered sunblinds, and an acoustic comfort package.

Other standard features include champagne flutes, rear infotainment screens, multi-zone climate controls, the Level 2 ADAS suite, the latest-gen MBUX system, power-adjustable seats, parking assist, and more. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 houses the optional MBUX entertainment setup, which allows back-seat passengers to utilize up to three touchscreens and gain access to several control options, such as the "Hey Mercedes" voice assistant.

Powering the GLS 600 facelift is a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that generates power of 550 bhp and peak torque of 730 Nm of torque. The unit is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. In the luxury SUV segment, the Maybach GLS rivals the likes of the Bentley Bentayga and Range Rover.
