MG Motor India has introduced two new versions of its famous SUV, the MG Gloster, in the Indian market on June 6, 2024. The new models are named Gloster Snowstorm and Gloster Desertstorm, and they are available at a starting price of INR 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUVs feature new body color options, an updated cabin theme, and exterior highlights. The Gloster Storm Series now has three variants: Desertstorm, Snowstorm, and the outgoing Blackstorm.
MG is offering the Gloster Desertstorm with a deep golden paint scheme along with a host of black exterior elements, such as an all-black grille, dark-themed ORVMs, black alloys with red brake calipers, and revamped headlights and taillights. The interior of the SUV gets black upholstery and a black steering wheel. On the other hand, the Snowstorm SUV features a dual-tone pearl white and black theme. The new edition has a new black roof, mirror casings, blacked-out grille, rear spoiler, and alloy wheels. The Snowstorm is being offered in a seven-seat configuration. Both new editions have a black-themed interior with white stitching on the steering wheel and seats.

MG Motor is offering the MG Gloster Desertstorm and Snowstorm SUVs with optional dealer-fitted accessories like JBL speakers, seat massagers, dashboard mats, themed carpet mats, and model-specific badges. In terms of features, the SUVs come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, a ventilated driver's seat, a full-digital driver's display, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system, followed by wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
These special-edition Gloster cars also feature an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a 360-degree camera, and emergency braking. Additionally, MG Motor India is offering a buy-back option on these models. MG introduced the Gloster SUV in India in October 2020 as its flagship model. In the premium SUV space segment, the Gloster rivals the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, and Jeep Meridian. The Gloster is powered by a 2-litre, four-cylinder diesel motor, which is mated to an 8-speed AT gearbox.
