Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the next-generation Dzire sedan in India on November 11, 2024. Pre-bookings for the upcoming Dzire are now open for INR 11,000. The much-awaited updated Dzire, based on the new Swift, comes with several design and feature changes that target competing subcompact sedans, including the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Exterior
In terms of exterior, it seems that the new Maruti Dzire exterior has redefined elements like a refreshed grille and updated LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and fresh Y-shaped LED tail lights. Maruti has also added chrome accents to the new model, along with alloy wheels.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Interior
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire interior comes with a spacious cabin with a dual-tone beige and black color scheme that is taken from the existing model. The upgrades aren't so minor as they come with advanced elements including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, blind-spot monitor, wireless phone charger, rear air conditioning vents, and a segment-first single-pane sunroof. There are six airbags for safety, along with electronic stability control (ESC) and hill-hold assist.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Powertrain
Powering the Dzire is Maruti's 1.2-liter, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine that churns out 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers will have the choice of a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, with a CNG variant anticipated to follow post-launch. The Maruti Dzire expected price is anticipated to start at around INR 6.7 lakh (ex-showroom), making it highly competitive in its segment.
