Ola Electric is back with its third-generation electric scooter series. The new Ola S1 Pro+ 2025 is available in two variants and starts at ₹1.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand is known for integrating technology, innovation, and convenience into its EVs. The Gen-3 S1 range has four variants, which are S1 X, S1 X Plus, S1 Pro, and S1 Pro Plus. This series brings significant improvements based on the learnings from the previous two generations.
The All-New & Efficient Gen-3 Platform
The Ola S1 Pro+ 2025 has a new motor, battery, and braking system. Ola has switched from a hub-mounted motor (Gen 2) to a mid-drive motor with a chain drive system. This gives the new machine a quieter ride.
Ola also offers dual-channel ABS as standard with an improved brake-by-wire system for enhanced safety and efficiency. Moreover, the upcoming MoveOS 5 update will add additional smart features like a smartwatch app, smart parking, road trip mode, live location sharing, emergency SOS, and more.
Most Powerful Motor in the Market Yet
The new 13 kW (17.5 bhp) mid-drive IPM motor makes the Ola S1 Pro+, the most powerful electric scooter in the market. The top model accelerates from 0-40 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. It comes with two battery options:
- 5.3 kWh variant with a top speed of 141 km/h
- 4 kWh variant with a top speed of 128 km/h and a claimed range of 242 km.
Further Driving Range
Ola has improved its EV's efficiency with a combination of mechanical and electronic braking which boosts the range by 15%. The 5.3 kWh variant claims 320 km (IDC range) and the 4 kWh variant has a real-world range of around 200 km.

Price in India & Competition
The Gen-3 EV is on the higher price side of the electric scooters. The company offers a standard warranty of 3 years or 40,000 km (whichever is applicable). The new Ola S1 Pro+ 2025 will compete with rivals like the Ather 450X 2025. The prices for the two variants are:
- 4 kWh variant: ₹1.55 lakh (ex-showroom)
- 5.3 kWh variant: ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom)
