Renault’s budget brand Dacia has unveiled a new SUV concept called Bigster. The concept previews a new flagship SUV measuring 4.6 meters in length, all set to be positioned above Duster. The Romanian brand Dacia is planning to launch the Bigster by 2025. We can expect it to be first launched in Europe. The images of this concept have surfaced online.

As per the images, Dacia Bigster gets a wide front fascia. It features the brand’s distinctive Y-shaped headlight design that is tilted a bit outwards. We can also see LED elements on the front fascia and the Dacia branding. The bash plate and the large air dam are integrated into the big front bumper. Furthermore, the SUV gets black plastic cladding all around with the Dacia branding on the sides as well. On the sides, the SUV gets alloy wheels. The rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar. The rear end of the Bigster gets wraparound Y-shaped LED tail-lights tilted a bit inwards, a large bumper, and a bash plate. The images reveal the Dacia branding on the tailgate as well. It will be based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance’s CMF-B platform. This particular platform will underpin all future Dacia models.

Not many details have been revealed about the interior and powertrain options. However, Dacia has stated that Bigster will get both LPG/CNG and hybrid powertrain options. We can expect the SUV to make it to the Indian market in the future under the Renault brand. If launched in India, it will rival the likes of the new Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the 7-seater Hyundai Creta.
