Revolt Motors, one of India’s leading bike manufacturers, has announced that the RV1 commuter electric bike has garnered more than 16,000 bookings within the first week of launch. The RV1 commuter electric bike was launched in the Indian market on September 17, 2024, in the presence of Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari. The all-new Revolt electric bike is being offered at an initial price of INR 84,990 (ex-showroom). It is the most affordable model from the company in India.
In the Indian market, the Revolt RV1 electric motorcycle is being offered in two variants: RV1 Plus and RV1. The Revolt RV1 bike price in India for the Plus variant is INR 83,790 (ex-showroom). Revolt Motors introduced the Revolt RV300 as one of the first electric bikes in India. The brand later introduced the Revolt RV400 BRZ and RV400 bikes in the domestic market.
Revolt RV1 Electric Bike: Features
The Revolt RV1 bike features the same bodywork as the RV400, but it has a unique front fascia and design elements like a round LED headlight, a fast charger, a reverse mode, a sleek 6-inch digital LCD display, telescopic forks, alloy wheels, a front disc brake pack, and built-in charger storage.

Revolt RV1 Electric Bike: Powertrain
When it comes to the battery setup, the RV1 electric bike comes equipped with two removable battery sets, which are IP67-rated for water resistance. These include a 2.2 kWh battery with a claimed range of 100 km and a 3.24 kWh battery, which is said to offer 160 km. Both the RV1 and RV1 Plus trims draw power from a 2.8 kW electric motor. The R1 motorcycle has a high speed of 70 kmph.
