Exterior Design Changes
Update with respect to the new front part: the head facia, which is Tech Deck-fied. The front has split LED headlamps, now placed more towards the bumper, as seen in the Elroq EV. It looks even more futuristic and aggressive, making the Enyaq. Skoda Enyaq global launch will also showcase the four segmented LEDs on both ends of the daytime running lights coupled with 23 separate LEDs, giving the impression of a grille typical for conventional ICE vehicles. This design language is no less beautiful but further increases its electric credentials via a blanked panel, neat where the front camera is placed.
One more important update in the Skoda Enyaq facelift is the replacement of the conventional winged-arrow Skoda badge with a bold blacked-out 'SKODA' letter mark. The lower bumper air intake also boasts a black finish that gives the front an even sportier, more premium look. In contrast, this design updates dovetails with the other darkened elements of the Sportline Edition while the well-known alloy wheels leave their iconic footprint.
Enyaq SUV and Coupe Design Variants
It is stated in the teaser video that the updates are also available for the Electric SUV facelift and Coupe. Though the first previews of the Coupe lacked certain features, like door handles, all these traits are now at last visible in the latest preview. Additionally, the Skoda Enyaq facelift coupe will maintain the signature C-shaped tail lights along with a sharp tear surface. The two vehicles will not just be available in one form, but rather in a whole spectrum of colors with the SUV being showcased in Velvet Red and the Coupe likely presented in Race or Energy Blue.
Skoda Enyaq Facelift in India
The Skoda Enyaq launch expected date is unveiled and it is believed that the updated version of the Enyaq and the Coupe will only make its Indian foray come 2025. It's much earlier, however, that the old version Enyaq iV will grace the Bharat Mobility Global Expo this month. The Enyaq will not rain on Skoda India's launch party for saying that the delay is because of the facelifted version, on which a joining date has yet to be announced.
Expected Powertrain and Performance
The Skoda Enyaq teaser will not let go of the current model's strong performance credentials. The trim in 80x, however, is expected to come with a 77kWh (net) battery that should deliver a range of up to 513km according to the WLTP cycle. This Skoda Enyaq facelift version has dual motors powering all four wheels and a combined output of 265hp, giving a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.9 seconds. These specifications confirm that the Enyaq will still be a powerful and efficient member of the EV fold.
Tomorrow heralds the global debut of the new Enyaq, which is a date that every car lover and electric vehicle fan should save in his or her calendar. Full details surrounding the brand-new Enyaq and its revolutionary features are due to be released.
