Tata Motors, a leading SUV manufacturer, has finally rolled out the Curvv ICE version in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Curvv SUV will remain open till October 31st, 2024. The auto giant has unveiled both the diesel and petrol versions of the Curvv Coupe SUV. Tata Motors launched the Curvv EV SUV Coupe in India earlier this month.

The auto giant is offering the Curvv ICE (internal combustion engine) with a range of features, comfortable seating, and three engine options. In the compact SUV segment, the Tata Curvv gives tough competition to the newly launched Citroen Basalt SUV. The all-new Curvv is available in eight different variants: Smart, Pure+ S, Pure+, Creative S, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished+ A, and Accomplished S.

Tata Curvv ICE Features

The all-new Tata Curvv SUV Coupe is based on the brand’s new ATLAS platform. It features front grilles along with vents that pass on cool air to the powertrain. The Tata Curvv rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels, and it gets Curvv branding at the rear. The coupe-like body design remains similar in both Tata Curvv models.

Inside, the Tata Curvv features a twin-tone black and burgundy cabin. On the feature front, the new Tata SUV comes equipped with a four-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and a nine-speaker JBL system.

The Tata Curvv Accomplished+ A variant houses additional features like ventilated front seats with electronic adjustment, and its back seat gets a two-step recline function. For safety, the Curvv ICE model gets six airbags, an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), ABS with EBD, disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and more.

Tata Curvv Engine Specifications

The Tata Curvv is being offered with three engine options, including a diesel and two two-turbo petrol engines. It draws power from a 1.2-litre Revertron three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 118 bhp and peak torque of 170 Nm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch AT transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.

There is a 1.2-litre inline three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which has been newly manufactured by the company for better efficiency. The engine churns out power of 123 bhp and 225 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch AT and a six-speed manual transmission.

On the other hand, powering the Tata Curvv is a regular 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder diesel engine that is also equipped in the famous Tata Nexon. This diesel unit can generate a peak power of 117 bhp and a peak torque of 260 Nm. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and a six-speed manual transmission.
