Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automakers, is all set to launch the new Tata Curvv and Curvv EV in the Indian market next month. The company will launch the Curvv Coupe EV on August 7, 2024. According to media reports, the Tata Curvv twins have scored 5-star safety ratings in the Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash tests.
If rumors are to believe the company’s latest offerings, Tata Curvv ICE and Curvv EV have now joined the ranks of the Safari, Punch EV, Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and Nexon EV. All these Tata cars have also scored a full 5-star rating from Global NCAP crash tests. However, the brand has not made any official confirmation regarding the crash test ratings.

Tata Motors has already revealed the exterior design of the SUV in many images and videos. The Tata Curvv features an LED bar, projector LED headlamps on the bumper, dual-function LED DRLs, and a larger air dam on the lower part of the model. Inside the cabin, the upcoming Tata Curvv EV bears similarities to the popular Tata Nexon, Safari, and Harrier. The new model comes equipped with the latest steering wheel along with an illuminated Tata logo, a Range Rover-inspired gear selector, a capacitive touch panel for AC, and an electronic parking brake.
The Tata Curvv EV will come equipped with a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features include a nine-speaker JBL sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated and powered front seats, and a wireless charging pad.
In terms of safety features, the Tata Curvv is packed with amenities like six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ABS with EBD, all four disc brakes, traction control, 3-point seatbelts with reminders for front and rear passengers, ISOFIX child anchor points, Level 2 ADAS tech, and a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor.
