Tata Motors, one of India’s leading car manufacturers, has rolled out the Nexon EV with a larger 45 kWh battery set. The Tata Nexon EV price in India ranges between INR 13.99 lakh and INR 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata is offering the electric version of the Nexon in an all-new Red Dark Edition as well. Customers will need to pay INR 20,000 additional for the Nexon Red Dark Edition version compared to the standard version. The Red Dark Edition is only being offered in the top-spec Empowered+ version.

Tata Nexon EV Exterior

The Tata Nexon EV is being offered in a carbon black exterior color scheme, setting it apart from other Nexon models. It receives design elements like a piano black lower grille, a piano black dark chrome 2D Tata logo, charcoal roof rails, and a special dark mascot. The electric SUV rolls on piano black 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the all-new Nexon EV features a black theme with red contrasting elements, while the dashboard is covered in a satin midnight black finish with red dark double deco and granite black stitch. The Tata Nexon EV houses an infotainment system with an exclusive Red Dark-themed UI and a panoramic sunroof.

Tata Nexon EV Powertrain

According to the company, the 45kWh battery set equipped in the Tata Nexon EV provides a certified range of 489 kilometres on one charge. It comes equipped with V2Vn and V2L charging technology, which enables the EV to charge other electric vehicles and appliances through its own battery. The Nexon electric vehicle can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes through a 60-kW fast charger.
