Tata Tiago has achieved the production and sales milestone of 4 Lakh units in the Indian market. The 4 Lakhth unit was rolled out from the assembly lines of the Sanand facility in Gujarat. The company has launched #Tiago4ever campaign to celebrate with its employees and customers across all Tata Motors offices, plants and customer touch points. First launched in 2016 under Impact design philosophy, Tata Tiago is available in 2 avatars – Tiago and Tiago NRG with a total of 14 variants in the domestic market.
Tata Tiago commands a healthy market share of 19 percent in its segment. In the first year of its launch, it bagged over 30 prestigious awards. It is available in two fuel options – 1.2-litre Revotron Petrol and recently launched iCNG. The hatch comes with a 4 Star Global NCAP Safety rating & boasts of best-in-class safety features like Dual Air Bags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Corner Stability Control (CSC) & Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Rear Parking Assist and much more. The iCNG variant boasts of segment-first features in the form of Direct CNG Start and Single ECU. The Tiago NRG, the rugged version of the hatchback, was launched in August 2021.
