Maruti Suzuki commenced the bookings of the new-gen Celerio. Interested buyers can book the vehicle either on Maruti’s official website or by directly visiting the nearby Arena dealership at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The most fuel-efficient petrol car in the country is expected to be launched on November 10.
2021 Maruti Celerio: Design & Features
The new-gen Maruti Celerio will be underpinned by the brand's modular Heartech platform that also underpins the WagonR. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle will be longer, taller, and wider in comparison to its predecessor. Besides this, it will also come with a longer wheelbase. Feature-wise, the hatch will come equipped with a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment unit, revised centre console, newly designed AC vents, to name a few.

2021 Maruti Celerio: Engine Specifications
Performance-wise, the all-new Celerio will be powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Dual Jet petrol engine with Dual VVT and idle start-stop technology. The motor is likely to produce slightly more power than the outgoing version’s 67 bhp. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT automatic gearbox. Furthermore, Maruti claims that the new Celerio will be the most fuel efficient petrol car in India with an expected ARAI certified fuel economy of 26 kmpl.
2021 Maruti Celerio: Color Options & Variants
As per Motor Arena India, color options and variant details of the upcoming Maruti Celerio have been leaked online ahead of the official launch. The leaked document suggests that the new car will be offered in a total of four variants namely LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. Besides this, the hatch is expected to be offered in a total of six color options namely Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Solid Fire Red, Speedy Blue, and Caffeine Brown.
