Pricing and Competitors

The new Toyota Camry price in India is Rs 48 lakhs (ex-showroom). Toyota has braced itself with a price increase of Rs 1.83 lakhs from the old model. However, even with the price increase, the new Camry is one of the most reasonable alternatives in the luxury sedan segment, considering how much lower this price is relative to its rivals such as the Skoda Superb (Rs 54 lakhs) and Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class, and BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine.

Exterior Design and Platform

2024 new Toyota Camry updates stand tall on the TNGA-K platform introduced by Toyota which makes it emanate superior driving characteristics. As seen on the outside, the Camry sedan now adopts Toyota's "hammerhead" or sharp-faced front-end styling with its less dramatic nose and thin LED headlamps combined with an almost seamless grille. The side profile reveals the bold character line, a fresh redesign for the 18 alloy wheels, and new-age C-shaped LED tail-lamps. This type of styling presents an approach towards balancing luxury and sportiness while making the Camry a cut-out from the competition.

Colour Options

The car is now available in tempting colours including Precious Metal, Dark Blue, Cement Grey, Emotional Red, Attitude Black, and Platinum White Pearl. Therefore, these will be showing buyers their flaunting style in the presence of man.

Interior Features and Comfort

The New Toyota Camry features a new design with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The system features support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy connection of compatible devices. Some other new Toyota Camry specifications also include a nine-speaker JBL sound system, a head-up display of 10 inches in size, and digital key functionality. The rear seat is more comfortable and comes with a reclining function and controls in the rear centre console. Front seats are ventilated and power adjustable with 10-way adjustments, while three-zone automatic climate control and a sunroof add to the overall comfort.

Advanced Safety Features

Toyota will be introducing its 2024 Camry to have the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0; a total advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) suite offering pre-collision assist, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, road sign monitor, and automatic high beams, among others. The new Toyota Camry features nine airbags, parking distance control, and a 360-degree camera that enhance its occupants' safety level.

Engine and Performance

The New Toyota Camry updates include a petrol engine of 2.5 liters and is coupled with the latest fifth generation Hybrid System (THS 5), which altogether offers a power of 230 horsepower, 12 more than the previous model. The engine is paired with an e-cvt gearbox for smooth power transmission and increased fuel efficiency. It is ARAI rated at 25.49 km/l, which takes it into the league of the most fuel-efficient luxury sedans.

Warranty and Manufacturing

Assembly at the Bidadi plant in Karnataka continues with the CKD (completely knocked down) kit for the new Camry, while Toyota establishes its presence in India with the promise of eight years and a healthy 1.6-lakh-km warranty on the battery pack in line with the competition, signaling its commitment to quality and reliability.

The new Toyota Camry on-road price promises to be worth the money and is a tough contender in the luxury sedan segment, offering extraordinary luxury, performance, and nailing high-end technology features.
