Vespa has launched the GTS 300 scooter in Europe which was showcased last year at the EICMA show. The Vespa GTS 300 is the most powerful Vespa yet that comes with improved performance on offer. The Italian scooter has got updated engine with new pistons and cylinder head designs that have helped it gain more performance.
The Vespa GTS 300 is powered by a 278cc, single-cylinder, high-performance engine (HPE) that produces a maximum power output of 23.8 BHP at 8250 RPM with a peak torque of 26 Nm at 5250 RPM. This engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission. The regular version of this scooter makes 22 BHP of power and 22.2 Nm of torque.
With more power on tap, the Vespa GTS 300 also gets added safety. The scooter is offered with traction control system and ABS as standard equipment. It also gets double disc braking system on offer for better stopping power. The scooter is Euro-V compliant. In terms of styling the scooter might look similar to its siblings as the retro signature design elements are visible.
