Tata Motors, one of India’s leading SUV manufacturers, has launched the much-awaited Harrier EV in the Indian market. The auto giant started teasing the Harrier EV five years ago. The electric vehicle was first introduced in a concept form at the Auto Expo back in 2020. Tata Motors unveiled this electric model in its production form at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
Now, the Harrier EV has been revealed in a pure electric version with a range of updated features and specifications. The all-new Tata Harrier EV price in India starts at INR 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Harrier electric SUV will open on July 2, 2025.
Tata Harrier EV Design
In terms of design, the Tata Harrier EV features new amenities like new bumpers, twin-tone aero-optimized alloy wheels, and a blanked-off grille. The new Tata SUV is available in four color options: Nainital Nocturne, Pure Grey, Empowered Oxide, and Pristine White.

The Tata Harrier EV cabin sports advanced features like a four-spoke steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, a twin-zone climate control system, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a blind spot monitor. There are new front seats that come with memory and ventilation functions. The EV receives comfort headrests, and for the front passenger seat, it features Boss mode.
For safety, the 2025 Tata Harrier EV is packed with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, including features like Adaptive Cruise Control, 360-Degree Camera, Lane-Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Hill Hold Assist.

Tata Harrier EV Engine
The 2025 Harrier EV is manufactured on the Gen 2 acti.ev+ architecture. When it comes to powertrain options, the 2025 Harrier EV comes equipped with 75 kWh and 65 kWh battery sets that are mated to both single and dual electric motors. This all-wheel drive (AWD) setup churns out power of 390 bhp and peak torque of 504 Nm. The electric SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.
Tata is offering the Harrier EV with five terrain modes: Rock-Crawl, Sand, Custom, Normal, and Mud Ruts. The electric SUV features multiple drive modes, including Eco, Sport, City, and Boost.
