The 2020 Honda Jazz takes on Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz in the Indian market. Below are the variants and features details of the new hatchback.

The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift has been presented in three grades: V, VX and ZX. The entry-level V trim comes with carry LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), rear parking sensors and cruise control as standard features while VX gets an additional engine start/stop button alongside Honda Smart Key System with Keyless remote, Auto AC with Touchscreen Control Panel, and Multi Information Combimeter with LCD display. The range-topping ZX variant comes loaded with a Segment Exclusive One Touch Electric Sunroof, LED fog lamps, LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and the 17.7-cm DIGIPAD 2.0 touchscreen Audio, Video and Navigation (AVN) infotainment system with seamless smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and newly introduced Weblink feature.

As far as safety features are concerned, the 2020 Honda Jazz facelift features dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and seat-belt reminder system as standard. Mechanically, the hatchback is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2L 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine with maximum power of 89bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 110Nm at 4800rpm. It is available with both 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearboxes with mileage figures of 16.60kmpl and 17.10kmpl, respectively. The company is not keen on introducing Jazz with a diesel engine. The new Jazz is the only car in its segment which is equipped with race inspired steering wheel mounted Paddle Shifters in CVT variants.
