Royal Enfield has given an update to its Classic 350 which is likely to be launched in the coming weeks. The bike has been spied doing test runs on multiple occasions in the past. Recently, it was spotted in the production-ready format. The spy shots of the same have been leaked online. The spy images reveal that the bike will be offered in two variants - Drum (single-channel ABS) and Disc (double-channel ABS).

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Design, Features, & Colors

Moving on, the bike is seen flaunting a new British Green color with black & gold pinstripes. There is one more picture where the bike in Glossy Grey color with minimal graphics has been spotted. The upcoming Classic 350 retains its retro look. Features like chrome-plated exhaust, round-shaped rearview mirrors, a circular headlamp with chrome bezels, prominent front, and rear fenders, and a teardrop-shaped fuel tank have been carried over. The fuel tank and side panels get C-shaped graphics. While the fenders flaunt new stripes. The updated tail lamp and indicators give a slightly compact look to the bike from the rear end. The 2021 Classic 350 gets subtle revision in rider and pillion comfort. The version seen in the image seems to get a single seat with updated cushioning. While there is one more model seen in the spy image, it gets a sportier stance with new split-seats and blackened bits.

From one of the spy shots, we could see that the updated Classic 350 gets a revised instrument cluster that features a separate digital readout with a fuel gauge. The last set of spy shots revealed that the bike will get a Tripper Navigation Pod integrated into the headlight. However, in the latest images, we could see a blank plate over that pod with a Royal Enfield logo. This further gives us a hint that Royal Enfiled might come up with a variant of the new Classic 350 without a Tripper Navigation. This will be done with an aim to keep the costs down.

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Underpinnings & Chassis

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is underpinned by the J platform that made its debut on Meteor 350. It sits on the twin downtube frame. In terms of the brakes, we could clearly see from the image that the upcoming bike features a 300mm disc upfront and a 270mm disc at the rear. The top-end variant will come with dual-channel ABS. Also, the braking system has been shifted to the right side of the bike. Furthermore, the new bike is seen riding on a 19-inch wheel on the front and an 18-inch wheel towards the rear end with spoked rims. However, tubeless alloy wheels are also on offer.

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the bike will be powered by a revised 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC four-stroke unit. The engine will further churn out a top power of 20.1 bhp at 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm while being linked to a 5-speed gearbox.
