The leading two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V in the Indian market. The updated Xtreme 160R 2V is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 1.11 lakh, which makes it INR 1.21 lakh more affordable than the previous version. It comes equipped with new features and a more comfortable seat. Customers can now purchase the Xtreme 160R 2V in a Stealth Black color with a single disc variant.
Hero Xtreme 160R 2V Specs
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V bike now features the segment-first Drag Race Timer, which includes two modes: D1 and D2. It houses a more comfortable seat, which is now fixed at a lower height for better comfort. The Xtreme 160R 2V is packed with a newly designed taillight, highlighted by the unique “H” mark. It comes equipped with a fully digital console with a drag race timer and essential readouts. The bike also has a USB charger and Bluetooth connectivity.
Powering the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V is a 163.2cc single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power of 14.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The unit is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Xtreme 160R 2V rolls on 17-inch wheels. It is now fitted with a 130 mm drum brake at the back and a 276 mm petal disc up front with single-channel ABS as standard. Suspension duties are done by telescopic front forks, and at the back, it gets a monoshock.
In the 160cc motorcycle segment, the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V rivals the likes of the Honda SP160, Bajaj Pulsar N160, and TVS Apache RTR 160.
