Nissan Motor India has launched the Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition in the Indian market to commemorate the first anniversary of the famous Geza Edition. The brand first launched the Magnite Geza Edition SUV in India in 2023. The special edition is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 9.84 lakh. In the brand’s lineup, the Geza CVT is positioned under the Kuro all-black edition of the Magnite SUV. This new variant is available in turbo-petrol CVT guise.
According to the company, the updated Magnite Geza is the most affordable and feature-packed CVT Turbo model in the segment. The special edition comes equipped with a more premium infotainment package, which includes features like wireless Android Auto, a 9-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, premium JBL speakers, Geza Edition badging, ambient light managed via apps, a rear-view camera, and new beige upholstery. Notably, the 2024 Nissan Magnite Geza has received the most advanced infotainment system compared to other CVT variants of the SUV.

The limited-run Geza CVT has not received cosmetic changes, except for the new Geza Edition badging on the C-pillar. The new model is anticipated to be based on the Magnite XV variant. It comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, and halogen headlights. Under the hood, the Nissan Magnite Geza edition draws power from a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 98 bhp of power and a peak torque of 160 Nm. The engine is paired with a CVT transmission unit.
Commenting on the launch of the 2024 Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition, the Managing Director at Nissan Motor India, Saurabh Vatsa, said, "We are delighted to introduce the newest variant of the Magnite following the tremendous success of the GEZA Special Edition last year. We have identified a significant opportunity, based on customer feedback, in the market to offer premium features at an accessible price point. The Magnite GEZA CVT Special Edition is the only CVT Turbo available at such a competitive price with features that no other product offers in the market."
The auto giant unveiled the Geza Edition of the Magnite in 2023, and it was positioned under the XV and XL variants. The Geza version helped the Nissan Magnite SUV surpass 30,000 sales in a single year.
