In a bid to meet OBD2B regulations, Honda 2 Wheelers India has rolled out the updated version of the legendary Honda Unicorn motorcycle in the Indian market. Recently, the company launched the updated models of the Activa SP160 and 125, and now the brand is offering the 2025 Honda Unicorn with new feature updates at an ex-showroom price of INR 1.19 lakh.
Notably, the new Unicorn bike is INR 8,000 more premium than its 2024 counterpart. Honda has now made the bike OBD2B compliant and is going to offer the 2025 model in only one variant but with several new updates. Customers can select the 2025 Honda Unicorn in three color schemes: Pearl Igneous Black, Radiant Red Metallic, and Matte Axis Gray Metallic.

2025 Honda Unicorn Updates
Honda is offering the new Unicorn bike with an all-LED headlight and LCD instrument cluster, which displays relevant information like an eco-indicator, service due reminder, and gear position. To charge mobile phones, the company is offering the bike with a USB Type-C charger. Apart from this, the remaining design of the motorcycle remains the same as the 2024 iteration of the Unicorn.
Powering the 2025 Unicorn is the new 162.71-cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out 13.1 bhp of power and a peak torque of 14.58 Nm. The engine comes paired with the same five-speed gearbox that was integrated in the previous model. In its segment, the updated Honda Unicorn bike rivals the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ-Fi, TVS Apache RTR 160, Bajaj Avenger 160, and more.
Commenting on the launch of the 2025 Honda Unicorn, the Managing Director, President & CEO of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter, Tsutsumu Otani, said that in the Indian premium commuter segment, the Honda Unicorn bike remains at the top position. The bike was launched in the Indian market nearly two decades ago. Since then, it has managed to earn the trust of several customers, becoming a symbol of reliability and comfort. Mr. Tsutsumu Otani added that the company is strengthening its legacy with the launch of the new Unicorn model.
